Connor Kilian Weigand, Executive Artistic Director

Connor Weigand grew up dancing at The Rock School of The Pennsylvania Ballet under the direction of Bo and Stephanie Spassoff. While at the Rock, Connor performed with the company in Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. For high school Connor attended the Southern New Jersey Academy of The Performing Arts under the direction of David Kloss. While in   high school, Connor performed with the dance company Dance Fusion run by Suzy Zucker. While dancing for Fusion, Connor was able to travel the country performing at such venues as NCAA March Madness, Major League Baseballs All-Star Game, and for the NHL. After finishing high school, Connor joined the first national tour of The Music Man playing the part of Tommy Djilas.

Connor attended Marymount Manhattan College’s dance program under the direction of Katie Langan. After only one year in the program Connor was offered a contract with The Scappino Ballet of Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

After returning state-side Connor joined The Chase Brock Experience. Connor danced four seasons with the company and received great reviews from The New York Times, The Village Voice and Variety. While with the company, Connor also toured with The Radio City Rockettes for four seasons in The Christmas Spectacular.

Connor has been on faculty at New Dance Group in Manhattan and has subbed at Steps, Broadway Dance Center, and Dance New Amsterdam. He has also taught master classes in North America and Europe. Connor’s students have gone on to The Juilliard School, Marymount Manhattan, Fordham’s Ailey Program, Oklahoma City University, Butler University, Lines Ballet and are dancing on Broadway and in companies such as American Ballet Theater, Netherlands Dance Theatre II, Nevada Ballet, and San Fransisco Ballet.

Recently, Connor was one of 20 teachers and directors chosen to attend School of American Ballet’s national teacher’s weekend.

From 2012-2017, Connor took the helm at Allegheny Ballet Company. As Artistic Director, Connor built a premier summer ballet program bringing dancers from across the country and offering training and choreography from The Balanchine Trust.

Connor has sent dancers to prestigious summer intensives at Houston Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Ballet West, Boston Ballet, Hubbard Street, School of America Ballet among others.

After 2 years as Executive Director for PASCP, Connor is excited to continue with the foundation that Rebecca built over the years.
