Nittany Ballet, a division of the Performing Arts School of Pennsylvania, is hiring teachers for the 2025-2026 school year.
We are the preeminent classical ballet school in Centre County, PA. Our faculty brings solid technique together with a deep love of classical ballet and teaching, enabling our students "a joyful pursuit of excellence" in the artform. We serve students ages 2 through Adult who dance for enjoyment, as well as students wishing to pursue a professional career. www.pascp.org
Seeking (a) teacher(s) for one or all of the following:
Beginning to intermediate ballet (ages 7-13)
PrePointe
1st year pointe class
Jazz
Adult Ballet
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess classical ballet education, training or experience and possibly other dance training or background (such as jazz).
Pennsylvania child abuse history/FBI background clearances must be obtained.
Hours:
Actual instructional times are flexible and may vary, to include evenings, Monday through Friday, between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., and/or Saturdays, helping the running of Nutcracker and Spring Performance rehearsals during the hours of 10am-5pm (flexibility within this time frame).
Benefits:
Hours and wage will be determined based upon education and applicable experience.
Teachers report to the Artistic Director and School Director.
