Director of Communications and Registration

Terra started as a competitive gymnast and complemented her training with dance classes. At age 9, she left gymnastics and began training in ballet and jazz with the Williamsport Civic Ballet. For the next 14 years, she was part of the corps de ballet and a soloist with the Williamsport Civic Ballet Company. Terra also attended summer intensives at Ballet Theatre Pennsylvania, numerous master classes, and was offered a scholarship to Goucher College’s dance program at age 16.

Terra began teaching gymnastics at 15, earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, and was an instructional paraprofessional at Easterly Parkway Elementary for 9 years. She has been teaching beginning ballet at PASCP since the fall of 2011 and became the Office Manager in the fall of 2020. After starting her job as an Administrative Assistant at Penn State, she transitioned to the role of Director of Communications and Registration for PASCP and continues to enjoy teaching the A-level ballet classes.

Terra lives in State College with her husband, Chris, and has two children, Tanner and Micah.
